Toddler curriculum
At TOTally Kids Learning Center, we encourage toddlers to follow their interests and discover new ones as they play and learn. Whether they’re making art, stacking blocks, or flipping through books, we create opportunities for them to explore their passions and develop new skills.

Building Brain Power and Strong Bodies
Hands-on activities like sorting, counting, and measuring introduce early science and math concepts, while daily routines help strengthen focus and memory. Our teachers also support toddlers' physical development, guiding them as they learn to walk, roll a ball, and more.

Learning About Feelings
Relationships with classmates and teachers take shape at this age. To help toddlers understand and express emotions, we use social-emotional tools like feelings magnets and puppets. These activities teach children to recognize their own feelings and empathize with others.

Talking More and More
Toddlers expand their vocabulary one word at a time as they point to objects, express needs, and engage with their surroundings. Early literacy skills develop through scribbling, page-turning, and interactive story time.

Sample Daily Rhythm for our Toddler Classrooms
At TOTally Kids Learning Center, our daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to balance structure and flexibility, supporting your toddler’s growth, learning, and well-being. Here’s an overview of what a typical day looks like:

6:30 – 8:45 a.m. Arrival and quiet activities. Hand washing, breakfast, and clean-up to start the morning right.
8:00 – 9:25 a.m. Circle time, singing songs, and reading activities, followed by music and movement.
9:30 – 9:45 a.m. Snack time, paired with diaper changes and hand washing.
9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Outdoor play or indoor gross motor activities to encourage physical development.
10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Group activities and child-directed play, tailored to children’s interests and needs.
11:00 – 12:00 p.m. Lunch time, with opportunities for social interaction and clean-up afterward.
12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Rest time for those on a schedule, with quiet individual play for others.
2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Diaper changes, potty breaks, and hand washing to prepare for the next activity.
3:00 – 3:30 p.m. Dinner to refuel and transition into the evening.
3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Outdoor play or indoor gross motor activities for more exploration and fun.
4:15 – 5:00 p.m. Supervised free play as children prepare for departure, wrapping up a fulfilling day.

This routine offers a balance of active play, learning opportunities, and rest, ensuring your toddler feels supported, engaged, and cared for throughout the day.
